The Body Wrap system we use at Renaissance European Spa use an aloe vera treatment by Set-N-Me-Free. This solution will moisturize, tighten, and tone the skin to create a definite size loss from fatty areas. The all natural ingredients in the gel are safe, healthy, and do not require a shower afterwards.
How do body wraps work?
Natural herbs and aloe vera combine in the cotton wrap to coat the skin and penetrate the protein walls surrounding fat cells. This removes toxins from these cells which then are removed by the body’s lymphatic system. These toxins leave the body over the next few days. This has the result of reducing the size of the fat cell, leading to a measureable difference.
What should I wear while being wrapped?
Cotton undergarments work the best, as this allows the aloe vera and herbal solution to penetrate through, whereas nylon or other materials block this. The cloth wraps are applied over the undergarments. It is advised you bring a change because the body wraps that are applied will soaken through.
What is the body wrapping process like?
The cotton wraps are heated and soaked in aloe vera and herbs and wrapped around the entire body making in a mummy fashion. The wrap is gently applied, leaving room for movement. You will then sit comfortably in our lounge for 45 minutes as the herbs and aloe vera penetrate the skin and dissolves away toxins from fatty areas. No perspiration should occur while in the body wrap, as this will impede the solutions effectiveness.
How much loss will this produce?
Newer fat cells shrink first as these are the first to come in contact with the body wrap solution. After a couple of days, older fatty areas and cellulite shrink in size following the wrapping treatment. Hardened cells can sometimes require four to five treatments to soften. Areas that reduce quickly in size are the back and underneath the arms.
As time goes by, the skin will become more firm and tone as inches are lost away. Many customers notice a looser fit in clothing after just a few wrappings.
